Training Guide for New Outpatient Clinicians

As a new clinician in group practices and community mental health agencies, specifically as a marginalized and neurodivergent individual, I felt confused, scared, and alone. This personal experience is what led me to create this training guide, which can be customized and used for training therapists at group practices or in community mental health. This guide is intended to be a general outline to help guide a training program led by a clinician, not HR. Feel free to add or delete aspects of it that apply to your specific work setting, and make it as specific and helpful as possible to your new employees. Includes orientation, clinical, intakes/treatment plans/discharge, technology, and being an employee.
